Hotel in Venice

Location

Among the 3-star hotels by Saint Mark’s Square, Venice’s Hotel Ambassador Tre Rose stands out for its truly privileged location, a few yards away from the so-called living room of Venice: the extraordinary Saint Mark’s Square!

Saint Mark’s Square, surrounded by the old porticos of the Procuratie that currently host the Correr museum, features the precious fascinating mosaics of the basilica and the wonderful profiles of the Ducal Palace, residence of the Doges filled with halls decorated with enormous canvases.

Going past the restored Clock Tower, one can head to the mercerie, the other commercial center of the Serenissima, ideal to enjoy a moment of shopping before entering the lively atmosphere of Rialto with its famous bridge and market.

Hotel Ambassador is located near the watercraft used for excursions to the Lagoon of Venice, where visitors can experience the glassworks of Murano and the laceworks of Burano, Torcello and other fascinating islands; a few yards up the way, you will find the water ferries that run along Canal Grande to Venice Lido.

Venice is one of the capitals of world culture, a city full of museums (Cà Rezzonico, Palazzo Mocenigo, the Museum of Natural History, Cà Pesaro) and important art galleries (the Peggy Guggenheim foundation, Bevilacqua La Masa, Palazzo Grassi and Palazzo Fortuny), all can be quickly and easily reached from your hotel.

Don’t forget to visit the evocative bank of the Zattere, the exclusive boutiques of Calle Larga XXII Marzo, the quiet calli di Castello, the shipyards of the Arsenale and the Giardini that host the Biennale Art festival
